We had planned to spend our 10 years wedding anniversary rock-climbing in Mossel Bay but thing didn't work out that way. We had an incident and we had to leave earlier. We can talk about it now but at the time it was pretty scary and traumatic. We then made our way to the beautiful De Hoop Nature Reserve. And we also take you to Cape Agulhas : the Southern-most tip of the continent of Africa. J...

Funny thing is I've had the MSR fuel *bottle* for emergency fuel on the motorcycle for years now! Saved my bacon a few times but I haven't cooked bacon yet -- still need to get the stove X-)
Hi Stephie, can you please tell me how long you needed to post your boxes before you arrived into the towns and where were your locations you posted too? Was it to post offices, caravan parks, information centres? What was your process? Thanks Dave. P.S I'm due to start my Bibbulmun track E2E very soon as I have almost completed dehydrating my meals for the eighty days ahead. Once again, many thanks Dave.
i learned something new about the murray river dividing Nsw and Vic, the wiggly lines make sense now hahaha onya mate
try bringing a bag of flour. its cheap. light. dry. calorie dense. you could season it if u wanted to. also there is no need to dehydrate the food for a quick hike. you could just carry a little less water and it would be the same thing as eating the dehydrated food and having to drink and carry more water. have you tried fasting?
john wayne parr has a doppleganger.. cool vid too
congratulations terrific job you are number 0nes
I appreciate your tips fantastic ideas great job thanks God Bless you
@GrizzlyNbearOverland Did you have any issues driving in EU or any other countries for having a bull bar? I'm planning to ship my truck over to EU and it has an ARB bull bar on it (smart move to have one where i live). Thanks and all the best!
I wish I could join! !!
Kids were having so much fun....😂
Gosh, Australia 🇦🇺 is beautiful! The trees, the bird sounds, the "relaxed" - yet hard working people!!!

G'day fro Sydny Australia. Are you guys heading to the Okavango Delta in Botswana after Namibia? Let me know as I can hook you up with some contacts there!
Hi Leigh and Stephy, I absolutely love your overlanding videos. We would love to do Australia and Southern Africa. We are originally from South Africa and have been Aussies for 20 years plus (know its difficult question to answer) as a young grey nomader, will you do Southern Africa or Australia? Thank you
whats your vehicle weight in kg ? and what shock springs youre running ?
$750 AUD pp? that cant be right... In Aus the price is usually under $300.
I'm not camping or hiking. But all of these meal ideas look super delicious, and I think I am going to add them to my rotation. :)
"Mt. Hohenfels" is german an means "Mt. Highrock" directly translated. It's also a town in Bavaria, perhaps there's a relation?
Toyota, Toyota, Toyota, Toyota, Toyota, Toyota. I know what you mean. I am a Land Cruiser guy, and when we get really remote it is very rare to see Land Rover, and 90+% of vehicles we see are various models and years of Land Cruiser. Mine is a 2014 200 series Sahara.
Just: A B I G W O W !
So Nice!
Love the elephants 🐘 too.
one of your best !
Thank you 😊
It was a huge pleasure and honour to meet you onboard the Hercules in Las Palmas Steffi. Enjoying your content to the max. Enjoy your next campaign and looking forward to it. Regards
Thank you for having me. Such a privilege. Not many people not working in the industry can experience that. So huge, impressive and complexe vessel.
I saw that axe do a little clink on the wall and winced, funny you mentioned straight away as well. A man and his tools !! 😂
What can I say, Brilliant, Amazing, Outstanding, Mind Blowing , I am so proud of my son and his lovely wife. I so enjoyed that video and felt quite touched re the curried egg sandwiches 😂😂 Love you guys so much ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you for your lovely message. As always. Chloe and Harry are very very nice people. We actually spent few days together but we didn’t film. It was so good to spend time with them as I was feeling lonely in this apartment in Windhoek for 4 weeks. Take care. 😊
@@GrizzlyNbearOverland .👍🏼😁
How much money are these vacationers making from their holiday snaps....
That was no ordinary rhino it was a black rhino, very rare sighting.
Was it a black rhino ??? We didn’t even know 😮 thank you
@@GrizzlyNbearOverland a black rhino has a pointed mouth beak like they are normally quite elusive and can be quite aggressive as well. They are browsers so normally eat tree branches and twigs their dung will show this as well. The white Rhino has a flat mouth front eating mainly grass they are less aggressive.
Outstanding video thank you for letting us in your wonderful journeys.
Any way to assist in finding work in a oilrig?.
Unfortunately that is a tricky one and a very “closed” industry.
@@GrizzlyNbearOverland Thanks, appreciate the the response.
Fantastic trip. And they land on a trailer just like grizzly and bear do 🤣
Vehicle well and truly christened with adventure mud !!!! Great episode Leigh and Stephie, am heading to Kruger in August, seeing the animals in your video makes me more excited. Safe Travels !!!! 🤠😎
That is so awesome and very exciting!! You will love it! On another note, If you go to Johannesburg, our favourite restaurant is “the butcher shop & grill”
Wow fantastic elephants they are lovely
Etosha is a magic place, thank for a great video guys and thanks for reviving memories
Maybe a video about the offshore work?
Done ✅😉 Stay tuned. Videos are behind but in few weeks we will take you there.
Spent an interesting hour up a tree with my Ausie mate when we came face to face with Rhino in Chitwan national Park, Nepal. It only left when some loud tourists riding elephants came past. They weren't looking very hard for wildlife as scared Rhino off and didn't spot us up in the tree 😂
Had to read this one twice. 😅 hiding in a tree with an Aussie and spotting rhino . Amazing!!! Tourists riding elephants… not so great …
Yall missing out on ruacana water falls
What was that multi coloured bird??? It was unreal!!
My new favorite. Lilac Breasted Roller. Was a good spot and I was so excited. But they are quite common actually.
I’m not bull shitting little lady you really really do put these videos together nicely 👍👍👍👍👍👍 Thank you 🤗
Always nice to hear. Thank you very much.
That's an amazing spot for a nice relaxing day. Wish I was there 😊
Zebra Crossing 😂😂😂
Totally enjoyed the wild life! Merci!
I feel you about the freezer. I just thawed and cleaned mine too. I had a block of ice in the back pushing on the basket. I have had a lot of satisfaction this week to see it clear again. Keep living your best life and thank you for sharing your adventures with us Bw4wd
Thank you. How satisfying when you can remove a big piece of ice without breaking it 😅
I have no idea how Anyone could harm those magnificent creatures
It’s so crazy and sad and we all know that the horns have no medicinal properties whatsoever. Same composition as our finger nails.
Nice to see our country thru your lens. Hope you enjoyed it
We love it ! 😊
